Handmade Jewelry Boxes:


The handmade jewelry boxes are made from solid wood. All boxes are made from solid wood and are designed for all types of jewelry storage.  Storage and display can both be accomodated with a well thought design.  Creating a product that is handmade, designed to house a customers family heirlooms or personal jewelry, is rewarding.  All jewelry boxes built at Vermont Box Collection will protect a customers jewelry from scratches and keep a collection of jewelry organized.  Whether it's jewelry boxes or jewelry chests, all products start the process with hand selected wood.  I personally sort through hundreds of boards to find boards that qualify for premium wood boxes. The wood is all bought locally and I specifically point out that all wood I use is from North America.  I dont use any woods that are imported.  I believe that a woods character is brought out in the finish process.  The woods natural color and grain is special for each species and creates a unique look, whether a handmade jewelry box is stained or finished natural.  See Handmade Jewelry Boxes.

Handcrafted Jewelry Chests:


I have been building furniture for eighteen years and Shaker Style furniture has been a personal favorite. Shaker's clean lines and unadorned surfaces have a simplicity that presents quality craftsmanship and shows the beauty of clean joinery. The handcrafted jewelry chests below are shown in Tiger Maple (Curly Maple), Black Cherry, Walnut, Bird's Eye Maple and Oak. The handcrafted jewelry chests can be ordered in Natural finish or stained, see Finish Choices.  The chests are made from hand selected hardwoods.  All handcrafted jewelry chests can be viewed from 360 degrees.  The backs of chests are finished with care and are panel and frame construction.  The drawers on the handcrafted jewelry chests are all dovetailed.  The dovetailed drawers are made from solid wood dividers and lined with black velvet.   See Handcrafted Jewelry Chests.
